Main quality indicators of laminate flooring

Surface wear resistance number: ≥9000 rpm for public places and ≥6000 rpm for household use. The above number of revolutions refers to the initial grinding value, that is, the surface finish is exposed, rather than the wear-resistant final value, that is, the floor is completely worn.

The market is that some laminate floorings have a high wear resistance, but they are likely to be the final wear value.

The water absorption thickness expansion ratio refers to the degree of increase in the water absorption thickness of the base layer after the reinforced composite floor is immersed in water at 25 ° C for a period of time. The greater the expansion ratio, the greater the strength drop of the floor after damp, and the surface protrusions or even falling off, seriously affecting the service life. At present, the size of the water absorption thickness expansion rate of various brands on the market can differ by more than ten times.

Reinforced laminate floor surface impact resistance

That is, the impact test is performed on the floor in a prescribed manner, and the diameter of the pit left after the impact is the basis of the impact performance. The smaller the diameter, the better the impact resistance and the longer the service life. The laminate layer has a wear layer thickness of 0.1 mm or more and a thickness of 0.7 mm.

Reinforced laminate floor formaldehyde emission

According to the provisions of GB18580-2001, the laminate flooring can be directly used for indoor products, so the formaldehyde emission must reach E1 level, that is, ≤0.12mg/L.

In addition to this, there are indicators such as static bending strength, internal bonding strength, density, moisture content, and bonding strength. The wear level and formaldehyde limit level should be clearly stated when selling.

Laminate flooring disadvantages:

In particular, it has been pointed out in the past that some distributors have said that laminate flooring is a “waterproof floor”. This is only for the surface. In fact, the only thing that should be avoided in the use of laminate flooring is blisters.
